FACEPLATE is published by the Office of Supervisor of Salvage and Diving Director of Ocean Engineering (NAVSEA 00C) to provide the latest and most informative news to the Navy Diving and Salvage community.  Each issue features articles written by and about the U.S. Navy Fleet divers. Readers can find first-hand accounts of the latest Diving, Salvage, Underwater Ship Husbandry, and Pollution Abatement operations conducted around the world and also get a glimpse into the history of Navy Diving and Salvage and how the community has evolved over the years.
