What is Sailor to Engineer (S2E)?
The Sailor to Engineer (S2E) portal provides technicians within the fleet direction to distance support from technical representatives and subject matter experts. To ensure vital systems and equipment opeate safely and effectively, S2E aids in answering questions regarding:
- Combat Weapons Systems
- Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical systems (HM&E)
- Shipboard Force Protection
- Underway replenishment performance and maintenance

Request access at https://accounts.phdnswc.nmci.navy.mil (Note: DOD Contractors will need their Contractor Name, Contract Number, and Expiration Date)
Important time intervals for NON-NMCI Users (i.e. shipboard users or OCONUS networks):
After 30 days, password expires
After 45 days of inactivity, account will be LOCKED
After 60 days of inactivity, account will be DELETED

Areas under Unique and Classified Data section are known as Enhanced Lockdown areas and will require additional approvals. You will need to submit a separate online request form for each area.
Important time intervals:
After 60 days, password expires
After 90 days of inactivity, account will be LOCKED
After 180 days of inactivity, account will be DELETED
