Educational Partnership Agreements
Carderock engages in numerous outreach programs to help develop young students and show them that science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) careers are rewarding. Our programs range from running grade-school engineering competitions to post-doctoral and summer faculty opportunities. One of the mechanisms that make these interactions possible is the Educational Partnership Agreement (EPA). The Carderock Technology Transfer Office makes use of the authority given by 10 USC 2194 to engage primary, secondary, and college-level educational institutions and school systems in STEM and educational basic research activities. Carderock currently has 18 active EPAs.
