SWRMC Completes Milestone Maintenance Availability Five Days Early
SAN DIEGO (March 14) -- Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) technicians take a group photo with USS Tripoli (LHA 7) officers on the ship’s deck to celebrate the completion of their Selected Restricted Availability on March 12, 2024. The availability completed five days ahead of schedule and was the first large-deck amphibious assault carrier to be repaired without any delays since 2003. Tripoli is an America-class amphibious assault ship homeported in San Diego. SWRMC provides superior ship maintenance and modernization, technical support, training, and innovative solutions to support ship readiness for the Fleet.
