PSNS & IMF Engineering and Planning employees provide technical direction for all Naval nuclear and propulsion plant work throughout the command. In addition, various technical divisions work together to provide support for the shipyard and its customers, including planning and technical direction for all propulsion work in connection with overhaul, repair, conversion, inactivation, and recycling of ships; Planning Yard services for assigned ships and availabilities; and all Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical propulsion systems, components and weapons work control and testing.
