Effective Oct. 1, 2001, FedBizOpps was designated by the Federal Acquisition Regulation as the mandatory "Government-wide point of entry (GPE)" for posting of Government business opportunities, including proposed contract actions, solicitations and associated information. All NSWC Philadelphia Division business opportunities can now be downloaded from FedBizOpps.

Please NOTE: It is the responsibility of the interested parties to check back at this site for any Amendments that may have been issued. No notifications will be sent. There is, however, the capability to register at the FedBizOpps site to receive notifications of amendments which would alleviate the need to keep checking this site.

NOTICE:  All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database, prior to award of a contract, basic agreement, basic ordering agreement or blanket purchase agreement. Registration may be done by accessing the website:

Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database.See www.sam.gov for further information and instructions.

 

This Multiple Award Contract Task Order acquisition forecast creates a demand signal of anticipated business needs and makes early planning possible to our industry partners for some of our larger MAC programs. It also contributes to better support of our requirements and fosters increased competition which benefits both NSWCPD and Industry. All procurement information contained within the acquisition forecast is subject to modification and is in no way binding on the Government. The acquisition forecast estimates, and any data contained herein, are based on the best information available and are being shared for information only. Actual set-aside determinations will be made by the Contracting Officer at the time the procurement action is initiated. More specific information relating to any individual item or class of items will not be furnished until the proposed action is synopsized or the solicitation is issued.
