Through the Navy's Distance Support Web Portal, shipboard Sailors can have instant access to engineering and logistics experts at NSWC PHD and other Warfare Center commands.

A system of fiber-optic sensors and remote monitoring will allow technicians ashore to monitor conditions in individual VLS launch cells.
