NSWC Corona is proud to offer employees several options for flexible work schedules. For example, employees may set the hours of their eight (8) hour workday provided they are present during specified core hours. Other flexibilities, including credit time, are available with supervisor approval.
Telework has shown to increase employee effectiveness by reducing work-related stress associated with commuting, a busy office environment, and work-life imbalance. At NSWC Corona, telework also serves as an effective strategy for improving Continuity of Operations during emergencies and accommodating individuals with disabilities, including employees with temporary or recurring health issues. It is NWWC Corona policy to provide eligible employees the opportunity to telework, be it on a situational or regular basis.
