RIJEKA, Croatia (July 6, 2022) – Interior Communications Electrician 3rd Class Victor Mendez Garcia, from Dallas, assigned to the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24), uses a needle gun during preservation work for mid-deployment voyage repairs in Rijeka, Croatia, July 6, 2022. Arlington is part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, under the command and control of Task Force 61/2, on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. Naval Forces Europe area of operations, employed by U.S. Sixth Fleet, to defend U.S., allied and partner interests.

NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (January 25, 2019) Damage Controlman 2nd Class Jesus Figueroa, left, and Damage Controlman 1st Class Sarah Aumiller, center, from Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) provide preventative maintenance training to Gas Turbine Systems Technician (mechanical) 2nd Class Jeremy Lovelace aboard Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64).
