The Energetics Technology Division is responsible for the S&T development of ordnance systems, with a focus on warheads, fuzing, safe and arm, ordnance electronics engineering and manufacture, and weapon effects modeling and simulation. As the premier center for energetic technology innovation, the Energetics Technology Division takes disruptive technologies and couples novel design and engineering techniques to develop and field new ordnance prototypes with the intent of delivering fielded systems to the warfighter. Systems include conventional and non-traditional warfare applications across the full spectrum of energetic competencies. The division sustains and nurtures a workforce possessing the critical talents necessary to function as national stewards for energetic technology.
