The Comptroller Department Provides accounting, budgeting, employee services, and financial support to the Command, while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.  Analyzes and evaluates financial data for solutions that enable the Command to meet its mission.

The Contracts Department - Leads and manages pre-award and post-award functions for simplified acquisitions and contracts acquisition management through policy development, data systems operations and analysis, performance measurement, oversight and workforce training, development, and certification.

The Corporate Operations Department - Provides innovative, agile, and complete solutions that enable warfighter mission accomplishment. Through disciplined processes and technical rigor, each functional area provides technical and administrative support to ensure service delivery and compliance in core areas, including: Human Resources, Safety and Infrastructure, Corporate Communications, Information Technology, Security, Corporate Business, and Property Management.

Navy Acquisition Development Program

We fill many of our entry-level positions, including Contract Specialists, through the Naval Acquisition Development Program (NADP).  The NADP is a premier leadership program designed to enhance the professional knowledge and capabilities of personnel recruited into the Acquisition Workforce (AWF).

This two- or three-year, paid program will provide you with the opportunity to become a skilled civilian employee, ready to aid in NSWCDD’s continued success.  After completion, you’ll have what it takes to be a well-rounded, high-performing, acquisition professional.  As an NADP employee, you’ll find full-time developmental jobs in various acquisition career fields, structured career planning, on-the-job and classroom training, rotational assignments, and the opportunity to participate in advanced degree college programs and acquisition certification trainings.
