Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center (FDRMC) Detachment Rota was established to provide Fleet Support to four BMD DDGs homeported in Rota, Spain. Manned with highly specialized technicians and support staff personnel, the detachment provides sustainment, fleet technical assistance, and voyage repair of naval ships and craft in the FIFTH and SIXTH Fleet AORs.
