The summer weather in Rota is warm, humid, arid, and mostly clear and the winter weather is cooler, wet, windy, and partly cloudy. Over the course of the year, the temperature typically varies from 45°F to 85°F and is rarely below 38°F or above 94°F.

Like many (non-southern) cities in the U.S., the best time of year for hot-weather activities is from late June to early September. This is also considered peak travel season throughout Spain.
