Based on your knowledge about the job and your qualifications, you can better assess your strong and weak points… what you need to emphasize or explain in the interview. Prepare some notes and study them ahead of time. The best way to prepare for interviews is to roleplay. Have someone run through questions and rehearse your responses. There are common questions that most interviewers ask such as, “Why do you want this job?” or “What do you bring to the job; i.e., why should we hire you?” and “Why did you leave your last position?” Other interview questions will be specific to the Agency, the command (SRF-JRMC and PSNS&IMF Det) and their missions, and the job to which you are applying.
