Where to Stay

Where to Stay - Yokosuka

Your sponsor will take care of your lodging reservation upon arrival however you will be required to submit a valid credit card at check-in if you haven't done so already. It is required that incoming PCS personnel and their families stay on base unless all facilities are booked to capacity. In either case you are required to check in at the Navy Lodge once you arrive. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of lodging expenses incurred if you check-in and stay at a hotel off base. If the Navy Lodge cannot provide or secure other base accommodations for you they will issue a Confirmation Not Available (CNA) letter. Note: the CNA is required to receive reimbursement for temporary lodging off base. If you've been told base lodging is not available remember you must still check in to Navy Lodge on your day of arrival or you will not be reimbursed for that night's lodging.

Navy Lodge

It’s located on the far side of the base. There is free bus transportation which travels throughout the base and taxi service at a nominal fee. If you rode the Narita Shuttle Bus do not disembark at PSC which is the first stop once you arrive on base. Remain on the shuttle bus and they will take you to the Navy Lodge.

Gateway Inn and Suites – Yokosuka

Located right next to Main Gate and is closest to town. This is the best/closest option to get off base and explore the city of Yokosuka.

Hotel New Yokosuka, Off Base (No Pets Allowed)

It’s just outside the main gate, and is only a 5-minute walk to NCTS-FE. The rooms tend to be small but tolerable for one person. A shuttle to the base is available every half-hour from 0600 to 0830.

Mercure Hotel Yokosuka, Off Base (No Pets Allowed)

It’s also in proximity from the base with similar accommodations.

Central Hotel Yokosuka, Off Base (No Pets Allowed)
