NUWC Division Newport employees get vaccinations through partnership with Naval Health Clinic New England

NEWPORT, R.I. - A collaborative effort was required to fill short-notice appointments for Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport employees to receive extra doses of the coronavirus vaccine from Naval Health Clinic New England during the past few months. Those involved in the coordination include Elaine Trainor (from left), administrative officer in Division Newport’s Corporate Operations Department; Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command New England staff, Hospital Corpsman (HM) Timothy Williams, HM 2nd Class Nolan Bronson, HM Fawn Buckley and Lt. Cmdr. Christopher Sutherland, homeport clinic manager; and Janet Igo, administrative/technical specialist and telework program coordinator, Division Newport’s Human Resources Division. The team recently met at the Naval Station Newport Officer’s Club, where the vaccine clinic was held.
