Interested in working on real Naval
science and engineering problems?
Consider NEEC.
The Naval
Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Warfare Centers are the Navy's principal research,
development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) labs for ships, submarines and
subsystems. The NAVSEA Warfare Centers also help maintain the Navy’s ships,
submarines and systems that are in operation today to ensure they perform
consistently and reliably.
NEEC’s
collective goal is to connect motivated students with employment opportunities to
one of ten
NAVSEA Warfare Center Divisions located across the country. NEEC projects are generally funded for 3
years, providing students the opportunity to participate in hands-on research, working with a
professor and a NAVSEA Warfare Center mentor.
Are you an aspiring scientist or engineer? Consider the
opportunity to work on NEEC projects of interest to the U.S. Navy to further
your career.
Get involved in NEEC – go see your
academic advisor or professor about getting involved in solving challenging
Navy problems that will benefit the nation!
