NEWPORT, R.I. - Rhode Island Gov. Dan McKee (right) and Pastor Chris Abhulime (third from right), the governor’s deputy chief of staff, chat with students in the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport’s Undersea Technology Apprentice Program as they test out undersea robots during a visit to the command on July 14, 2021. The students, Michael Piacenti (from left), Cameron Ostiguy, Alexis Rohrbach and Olivia Daniello, are spending three weeks working alongside Division Newport scientists and engineers to get hands-on experience in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
