Warfare Centers Collaborate with Industry to Address Navy Ship Combat Systems Corrosion

Navy ships, similar to the one pictured may get some help with corrosion issues. NSWC PHD’s Lead Materials Engineer Armen Kvryan along with PHD’s Fathomwerx Lab, Matter Labs and Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division are hosting a Rust-A-Thon competition to help find coatings that can mitigate and control corrosion on Navy ships.
