NSWCDD celebrates small businesses during event at Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center

NSWCDD Holocaust Remembrance Day speaker’s family rose ‘from the ashes’

IMAGE: Dr. Jacob Tenenbaum, the only child of Polish-born Jewish Holocaust survivors, served as the guest speaker during Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division’s Holocaust Remembrance Day Observance April 19. During his presentation, Tenenbaum shared that he was born in the Landsberg Displaced Persons Camp in an American-occupied zone of Germany where his mother and father met and eventually married after being liberated from their respective Nazi concentration camps.

Community Service Means More than Just Volunteer Work for NSWC Dahlgren Division Engineer

NSWCDD IT Specialist Finds Passion in Community Service

When the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020, Butler knew she could make a difference using her 20-plus years of medical training. For her efforts in the community, Butler is being recognized with the NSWCDD Community Service Award on March 10.
