WASHINGTON (July 11, 2024) -- Rear Adm. Tom Dickinson relieved Rear Adm. Seiko Okano as Program Executive Officer, Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) during a change of office ceremony at the Washington Navy Yard. The Honorable Nickolas Guertin, Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition was the keynote speaker. The mission of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) PEO IWS office is to maintain, develop, and sustain operationally dominant combat systems to our Naval forces.

Evans assumes command of NAVSEA Warfare Centers

WASHINGTON -- Rear Adm. Todd M. Evans salutes Rear Adm. Thomas J. Dickinson as he assumes command during the Naval Sea Systems Command Warfare Centers change of command, held June 24 at the Washington Navy Yard.  

Vice Adm. Jim Downey, commander, Naval Sea Systems Command (center) presided over the ceremony. 

The NAVSEA Warfare Centers execute research, development, test and evaluation efforts for the future Navy as well as provide in-service engineering and logistics support for the operational surface and submarine forces.
