Why A Career At SUPSHIP?

How would you like to build your career while you're helping to build a nuclear aircraft carrier?

Maybe you'd like to work on the Navy's most modern and technologically advanced destroyer or nuclear submarine?

Sound challenging? You bet!

The SUPSHIP community is looking for engineers, project managers, contract specialists, financial managers, and quality assurance specialists that do just that.

Every ship in the US Navy's fleet, from the largest and most complex nuclear aircraft carrier to our smallest auxiliary ships, is built under the watchful eyes of the Supervisors of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair, or SUPSHIPs as they're better known. Working closely with the nation's private shipbuilding industry, SUPSHIPs serve as the government representatives responsible for all on-site decision making contracts.
