New lathe dedicated to fallen Navy SEAL

Capt. JD Crinklaw, commander, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility, pays tribute to Special Warfare Operator 1st Class (Navy SEAL) Patrick D. Feeks during a special lathe dedication ceremony Aug. 12, 2023, in Rochester, N.Y. Feeks was killed in Afghanistan Aug. 16, 2012.

Mark Leighton, president, Bremerton Metal Trades Council, began his career at PSNS & IMF as a welder in 1997. Leighton said he decided to try his hand at a leadership role within PSNS & IMF because "I kept finding myself answering more questions than I was asking."
