NUWC Division Newport shares marine mammal research with New Bedford Whaling Museum

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. - Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport marine biologist Tom Fetherston (from left), and NUWC Commanding Officer Capt. Chad Hennings listen as New Bedford Whaling Museum chief curator Christina Connett Brophy explains the “Whales Today” exhibit that is supported by marine mammal research conducted by the Navy. A tour of the exhibit was held on Sept. 25 at the museum, located at 18 Johnny Cake Hill, New Bedford, Massachusetts.
