Master Chief Chase Krause was born in Fort Worth, Texas and raised in Bedford, Texas until he Joined the Navy in September of 2001. He attended Navy submarine school and Electronics Technician (ET) A-school in Groton, Connecticut.
His sea duty assignments include USS West Virginia (SSBN 736B) (Nav Div), USS Wyoming (SSBN 742G)(LPO), USS Maine (SSBN 741G)(LCPO/DEPT CPO), and USS Nebraska (SSBN 739G)(Chief of the Boat). Ashore he served at Navy Recruiting District (NRD) Denver as a recruiter and Submarine Squadron 17 Staff.
Master Chief Krause is a graduate of the United States Navy Senior Enlisted Academy and the Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Capstone course in Newport, Rhode Island.
His personal awards include: Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (Two Awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (Six Awards) and various unit awards.
He and his wife Allison reside in Port Orchard, Washington with their two sons Carson and Nolan.
