Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) provides our Navy with high quality, on-time maintenance, modernization, recycling and support that helps assure America's dominance at sea. PSNS & IMF has permanent sites in Bremerton, Bangor, and Everett, Washington; in San Diego, California; and at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan. The shipyard in Bremerton is the Pacific Northwest's largest Naval shore facility and one of Washington state's largest industrial installations. The Trident Refit Facility is the largest command at Naval Base Kitsap, Bangor, near Silverdale, Washington.

PSNS & IMF completes 3-year MMP availability on USS Ohio (SSGN 726)

March 13, 2025 - USS Ohio (SSGN 726) completed a three-year Major Maintenance Period availability at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility Feb. 24, 2025, culminating with Naval Sea Systems Command (07) certification for Unrestricted Operations, and helping return the nuclear-powered guided-missile submarine back to the Indo-Pacific theater of operations.
