DAHLGREN, Va. - DAHLGREN, Va. - Fifteen K-12 educators across Maryland and Virginia have received hands-on learning in a virtual conference designed to encourage science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education, in a conference held July 20-24. While the conference was held virtually, participants were given hands-on learning experience. “Our world-class, diverse naval STEM workforce is the ultimate force behind the naval fleet,” said Mike Young, director of Academic Engagement for Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division.
