PASCAGOULA, Miss. - PASCAGOULA, Miss. (Oct. 23, 2019) The future USS Tripoli (LHA 7) transits through the Gulf of Mexico in the early morning hours of Oct. 23, 2019 at the beginning of Acceptance Trials. During the underway, the Navy’s Board of Inspection and Survey performed a rigorous evaluation on all of the ship's major systems including propulsion, communications, navigation, combat systems, and aviation capabilities.
