NEWPORT, R.I. - Ten Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport engineers and scientists competed in Hack the Machine, a Navy-sponsored event aimed at solving today's foremost digital challenges, held Sept. 6-8 at the former Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York. Employees attending were Undersea Warfare (USW) Combat Systems Department's Akeim Findlay (front row, from left), Steve O'Grady and Colby Wilkinson; David Rubenstein (standing from left), USW Weapons, Vehicles and Defensive Systems Department; James Luther, Ranges, Engineering and Analysis Department; Jesse Carter, USW Electromagnetic Systems Department; Felipe Marcelino, USW Weapons, Vehicles and Defensive Systems Department; Dan Bronstein, USW Combat Systems Department; and Chuck Humphrey, Sensors and Sonar Department. Team member not pictured is Ajaz Baig, USW Weapons, Vehicles and Defensive Systems Department.
