NOB, Norfolk, VA - 181104-N-XT039-1091 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Nov. 4, 2018) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Gonzalez (DDG 66) transits the Atlantic Ocean while participating in exercise Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT). Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group (CSG) cruiser-destroyer (CRUDES) units are completing the first East Coast CRUDES SWATT exercise. SWATT is led by the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) and is designed to increase warfighting proficiency, lethality, and interoperability of participating units.
