NEWPORT, R.I. - Tributes to Sept. 11, 2001, could be found throughout the USS New York, such as this steel salvaged from the World Trade Center. The USS New York was one of three ships in port for the Naval War College's 23rd International Seapower Symposium and opened for tours by Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport employees.
