Expeditionary Strike Group 2 was established in2006 as an integrated Navy and Marine Corps Staff  and is responsible for the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group (IWOARG) which consists of USS Iwo  Jima (LHD 7), USS New York (LPD-21) and USS Fort McHenry (LSD 43).

MAYPORT NAVAL STATION, Fla. - Rear Adm.
