The Naples Commissary

The Defense Commissary Agency, which is headquartered at Fort Lee, VA., operates a worldwide chain of commissaries providing groceries to authorized patrons in a safe and secure shopping environment. Customers purchase items at cost plus a 5-percent surcharge, which covers the costs of building new commissaries and modernizing existing ones. Shoppers save an average of more than 30 percent on their purchases compared to commercial prices — savings that amount to thousands of dollars annually when shopping regularly at a commissary.

Naples’ commissary offers nearly 10,000 grocery and miscellaneous items and has a full-service deli/bakery. Rotisserie chicken, Panini sandwiches, several hot foods, deli meat and cheese trays and self-service fruit and vegetable salad bar are available.

As with all overseas commissaries, they accept coupons up to six months past the expiration date as well as the new Rewards Card coupon program.

Our Main Store Mall features Residential Services, Barber Beauty Salon, Vodafone Cellular Service, Navy Federal Credit Union, Eyewear, Florist, European Wine Shop, antiques, an Italian Bicycle Shop and tailor/dry cleaning. The food court has an array of fast food brands including an Ice Cream (Gelato) Shop as well as a Café, Movie Theater, Pack n Wrap and Post Office.

Chaplains and Religious Program Specialists deliver institutional care, counsel, and coaching including non-faith specific counsel by Chaplains which is immediate, confidential, and imbued with professional wisdom and a fundamental respect for human beings.

Facilitate
Chaplains and Religious Program Specialists manage and execute Command Religious Programs that accommodate our Nation's diverse religious requirements.

Provide
Chaplains meet faith-specific needs, including worship services, religious/pastoral counsel, scripture study, and religious education.

Advise
Chaplains advise Commanding Officers on issues relating to morals, ethics, spiritual well-being, morale, and advise on the impact of religion on operations, while training and educating leaders at all levels in moral decision-making, cultural awareness, and cross-cultural communications.
