Our manual workers, across a variety of vocations and crafts, do the hands-on work every day that builds and maintains our ships and combat systems. Whether it is welding together paneling for a new submarine, or operating the cranes that load carriers, we always have the need for talented trade workers that can get the job done safely and efficiently. Civilians trained in skilled trades and manual labor have an incredible opportunity to take their vocations and careers to the next level with NAVSEA—working on naval ships and systems unavailable to the public, and receiving the finest hands-on training available.
