BETHESDA, Md. - Mr. Alexis Colon, an employee with the Fabrication and Technical Support Division, explains to visitors how the team's equipment is able to deliver meticulous detail when assembling models for the U.S. Navy at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division in West Bethesda on Aug. 28, 2025. Mr. Miller and Mr. Perotti recognized the model team's effort in delivering four precise 1/250 scale models in just eight calendar days for NAVSEA headquarters. The visit was part of a familiarization tour of recent projects at Carderock, the Navy's innovation and ship design powerhouse, a world-class research and development facility specializing in critical ship design components.
