NSWCDD STEM Outreach
WARSAW, Va. – Students in Kaylin Drake’s fourth grade science class at Richmond County Elementary School learn how to program robots donated by Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division. The robots have been used to develop a Naval Sea Command-themed robotics camp and curriculum using the NSWCDD-donated Lego kits as a foundation. Dahlgren Division scientists and engineers serve as STEM advocates across area schools, reaching thousands of students each year to develop tomorrow’s Navy innovators.
