Carderock Welcomes DoD STEM Ambassadors to West Bethesda
Community Outreach and Student Engagement Coordinator Ashlee Floyd guides a Department of Defense STEM Ambassador through a STEM-In-a-Box activity in West Bethesda, Md., on Feb. 22, 2024. This year’s cohort, which included more than 20 educators, toured some of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division’s state-of-the-art facilities for the first time ever in the program’s history. Educators learned about new, low-cost and naval relevant STEM activities that can be leveraged in the classroom from Carderock’s STEM and Outreach professionals.
