Bring a Child to Work Day at NUWC Division Newport engages children in STEM
Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport employees Tim Nolan Jr. and Diane Nolan, both of the Undersea Warfare Combat Systems Department, show their children, Owen and Bridget, a periscope during Bring a Child to Work Day held on April 22, 2022. The Barrington, Rhode Island family joined more than 375 participants who attended the event designed for children ages 9 to 17. More than 30 workshops offered a greater understanding of Division Newport’s mission and why the work we do to support the U.S. Navy matters.
