NUWC Division Newport team, retired employee win National Defense Industrial Association Awards
Retired Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport employee Mark Snyder recently won the National Defense Industrial Association Bronze Medal for outstanding individual achievements in science or engineering in the field of undersea warfare. Snyder retired July 3, 2021 from the Sensors and Sonar Systems Department, after serving as director of programs, technical department acquisition advocate, and acting department head.
