Fiber Optics
Sailors receive their fiber maintenance technician certification at the Norfolk schoolhouse. As part of the Fiber Optics Test and Repair Program, the Norfolk schoolhouse is certified to verify proficiency in fiber repair in an effort to increase fleet self-sufficiency.
