NUWC Division Newport contracting compliance lead applies her skills in the Air Force Reserves
Allison S. DeSimone fills the call to duty as a contracting compliance lead for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport’s Contracts Department and as major in the U.S. Air Force Reserves, where she serves as a contracting officer and supports 225 personnel, across 14 divisions. DeSimone is shown (at left) with her husband and two children at their home in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, and in uniform for a Veterans Day event at her daughter’s school in 2017.
