Honor - Veteran's Integration Event
DAHLGREN, Va. (Dec. 11, 2019) – Retired Chief Warrant Officer Ed Hudson shows his photographs of Honor, a dog he named after the Navy core value, and raises through Southeastern Guide Dogs’ tele-raiser program. The Cyber Technologies and Software Systems Division head at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division highlighted his journey with raising guide dogs during a Veterans Integration event, Dec. 5. Hudson has volunteered for Southeastern Guide Dogs, a nonprofit in Florida that provides services to the visually impaired, veterans, children, and teenagers for more than a decade. The Navy veteran who served for 20 years encouraged his fellow veterans to “find something in life that makes you feel like you are not just existing.”
