Norfolk Naval Shipyard Commandar Capt. Kai Torkelson visited Starbase Victory at Victory Elementary School for the final week of summer camp activities. NNSY and Starbase Victory have been in partnership since 2002 to help bring science progrmas to Portsmouth Public Schools.

Bush (CVN 77) at Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) July 25, helping to better understand the shipyard’s waterfront layout, emergency scene operations and carrier confines in the event of a major fire shipboard.  Bush is currently at NNSY undergoing a Drydocking Planned Incremental Availability (DPIA).
