Employees recognized for their communication innovation

Capt. Jip Mosman, commander, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility, presents Bryson Delima, 2380.1RW Radioactive Waste branch head, with a Bravo Zulu sticker April 7, 2021,for co-leading a team with Mike Tracy, process management branch manager, Code 220, Resources, Training & Processes, that codified a sustainable engineering execution system, which was shared with all four U.S. Navy shipyards. Their combined efforts improved the turnaround time for Deficiency Log resolution from 2.4 days to less than one day by addressing visibility and behaviors at all levels of the command.

New commander takes charge of PSNS & IMF in unique socially distanced ceremony

Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility welcomed its new commander Dec. 2, 2020, at the shipyard in Bremerton, Washington, during a unique change of command ceremony that was arranged to protect participants and audience members from COVID-19. Capt. Jip Mosman relieved Capt. Dianna Wolfson during the ceremony in the historic Building 460. Vice Adm. William J. The USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) makes its way past Point Herron Aug. 23, 2020 after departing Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility in Bremerton, Washington.
