The Department of Defense Cyber Scholarship Program (DoD CySP) is both a scholarship program for the DoD and a capacity building tool for the nation. The program is a result of commitment from DoD and Congress to support higher education as a means to prepare the DoD workforce to deal with threats against the Department’s critical information systems and networks.
Qualifying Requirements
Must be:
- A U.S. citizen at time of application
- 18 years of age or older
- Willing to accept post-graduate employment with the DoD
- Full-time student with a 3.2 overall GPA for undergraduate and 3.5 for graduate
Program Requirements
Only students at designated National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-Cs) may apply for a DoD cyber scholarship. Is your school an NCAE-C school? Review the list of NCAE-C schools here (https://www.caecommunity.org/cae-map)
