LCDR Korrin K. Cook

Executive Officer, AEGIS Technical Representative

Lieutenant Commander Cook is a native of Rock Falls, Illinois. She entered the U.S. Navy on August 10, 2000, and completed recruit training and Interior Communications Electrician “A” School in Great Lakes, Illinois.  Following completion of her first sea tour she completed Interior Communications Electrician “C” School in San Diego, California.  Cook earned an Associates Degree in Aeronautical Engineering in 2008 and later completed a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Thomas Edison State University in 2019.

At sea, Cook served as Staff Communications Officer at Special Boat Team TWENTY (SBT-20). She also served as Electronic Materials Officer in USS CURTIS WILBUR (DDG 54) and USS MOMSEN (DDG 92). Her enlisted sea tours were USS HUE CITY (CG 66), USS GONZALEZ (DDG 66), and USS CREW GOLF.

Ashore, Cook served as an Interior Communications Electrician “C” School Instructor at Center for Surface Combat Systems Unit, Great Lakes, IL.

Cook assumed the duties as Combat Systems Officer, AEGIS Technical Representative (TECHREP) in January 2020.

Cook is authorized to wear the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (six awards), and various other medals, unit awards and campaign ribbons.
