CAPT Damian Clem, USN

Commanding Officer, Naval Sea Logistics Center

CAPT Clem is from Conway, Arkansas, and was commissioned as an ensign in 1997 after earning his Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Mississippi. He later earned a Master of Science in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.

CAPT Clem's afloat assignments include supply officer, USS Essex (LHD 2); Supply Officer, USS Laboon (DDG 58), USS Gonzalez (DDG 66), and USS Stout (DDG 55) during the Atlantic Fleet DDG Sea Swap Initiative. He was also Disbursing/Sales and Food Service Officer, USS Chancellorsville (CG 62).

Ashore, CAPT Clem served as deputy assistant chief of staff for logistics, Expeditionary Strike Group 3; Material Analysis and Support Manager, Logistics Management Support Division, Program Executive Office Submarines, Washington, District of Columbia; Supply Officer, Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies, Honolulu, Hawaii; and Stock Control Officer, Naval Support Activity Naples, Italy, and the Supply Corps Officer Community Manager, Bureau of Naval Personnel.  His most recent assignment was as Director, Surface Operations, Naval Supply Systems Command Weapons Systems Support.

CAPT Clem assumed his current duties as Commanding Officer, Naval Sea Logistics Center in June of 2022.  He is authorized to wear the Surface Warfare Supply Corps Officer and Naval Aviation Supply Officer pins, along with various personal, unit, campaign, and service medals.
