Off the coast of Oregon: USS Freedom (LCS 1) recently completed Seakeeping and Structural Loads Trials, commonly referred to as Rough Water Trials (RWT). Freedom, shown here during the RWT in late March, collected data while operating in Sea States 5 and 6 (approx. 8-20 foot waves).
