NSWC PCD engineers awarded DoD SMART SEED grants

(left) Dr. Aaron Blevins and Dr. Jorge Jimenez, Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division X Department engineers, are the Navy Lab’s latest Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) SEED scholars within the field of artificial intelligence and autonomy for Fiscal Year 2023. Three NSWC PCD personnel receive U.S. Navy medals, perfect assessment score

NSWC PCD provides One Team support to NUWC Newport, HII to deliver launch and recovery capabilities

HII’s Pharos receives final preparation before launching into the water as the system needed to ensure it was capable of ballasting and de-ballasting in a loaded condition and also demonstrate its capability to be recovered from a large boat ramp at Naval Support Activity (NSA) Panama City, Fla., Sept. 1. Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division's Mission: To conduct research, development, test and evaluation, in-service support of mine warfare systems, mines, naval special warfare systems, diving and life support systems, amphibious/expeditionary maneuver warfare systems, other missions that occur primarily in coastal (littoral) regions and to execute other responsibilities as assigned by the Commander, Naval Surface Warfare Center. Vision: Ensuring Warfighting Dominance in the Littoral Battlespace.
