NSWC PCD Property Management Division implements key program to deliver critical support
October 16, 2023 — Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division’s (NSWC PCD) Property Management Division plays a vital role to the Navy Lab’s mission success. They’re comprised of several branches and have used several programs to improve customer support. The latest program is called the Familiarization Tour, which occurs where their personnel tour various projects onboard NSWC PCD. NSWC Panama City computer scientist wins Women of Color Award
September 27, 2023 — Larriel Hester, computer scientist and test director at Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), was recently chosen as the Women of Color Technology Rising Star Award recipient. She leads teams comprised of testers and subject matter experts in hardware, software and networks, as they test and field variant systems to the Navy and Marine Corps. In the past three years, she has taken on considerably more responsibility than is typical for someone at her level of career and has led numerous test events around the world... MORE

NSWC PCD’s collaboration with Sagetech elevates Navy to new unmanned aircraft systems heights
August 7, 2023 — Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) continues its pursuit to be a collaborator of choice who expands naval superiority in its latest partnership with Sagetech Avionics, Inc. The two organizations held a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) signing ceremony, July 27. This CRADA, entitled the Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Collaborative Research Effort, aims to combine technology and reimagined design within this dynamic field using Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) capabilities. NSWC PCD logistics division uses Appreciative Inquiry to build culture, impact fleet
July 5, 2023 — Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division Integrated Logistics Support Division recently experimented with a novel management approach used by major companies to more fully engage the division’s workforce, refine their culture, and enhance their impact to the warfighter. The management approach, called Appreciative Inquiry (AI), is a way of creating organizational change by focusing on identifying and doing more of what is already working, rather than focusing solely on problems and trying to fix them...
